NEET - Not in Education, Employment or Training

BYHP is working with partner organisations to deliver two free projects to help transform the lives of young people aged 15 to 21, at risk of becoming NEET (Not in Education, Employment, or Training) or already NEET.

The projects, which are part of Building Better Opportunities, are funded by the European Social Fund and the National Lottery Community Fund and focus on helping these young people across Oxfordshire get the skills and confidence they need to maintain, or return to education or employment.

The opportunities offered by this partnership enable young people to quickly develop self-confidence, self-esteem, work readiness and employability. We provide support into meaningful employment, education and training opportunities with a diverse range of local employers and training providers, with ongoing in-work support. Support will be tailored to meet individual needs, but could include:
One to one mentoring and guidance with a Key Worker
Group sessions focused around areas of personal development
Working with partners to access volunteering or training opportunities
Support getting ready for work through help with job hunting skills, CV writing, etc.
